I worked with photo editor Emmalee Reed, and photographers Owen Ziliak and Margo Wagner on choosing their best photos on a story about children learning outside during the COVID-19 pandemic.
For this page, we planned to go through the Associated Press wire service, and make an edit for a photo gallery that would accompany the story on the decision of not to charge the officers that killed Breonna Taylor.
I worked with reporter Janae McKenzie on brainstorming about bringing visuals to her story on the elderly isolation crisis. Photographers Elizabeth Underwood and Blythe Dorrian were assigned to it.
This is the second part of a look into elderly isolation, focusing on what some of them do to relieve the problem. Ethan Weston and Elizabeth Underwood were the photographers in this part of the story.
I worked with photographer Hana Kellenberger on the visuals for Trenton Almgren-Davis’ story on freshman University of Missouri pre-medicine students and their personal motives.
Photographer Ethan Weston pitched this idea when elementary schools were going online. New Haven Elementary was doing curbside pickup for bags full of school materials. We end up using it as a standalone since we didn’t have a first page photo.
