Marco is a Brazilian-Spanish visual journalist and editor. His interest is in photographing and editing stories related to social, cultural, political and international issues.
In 2021, Marco earned a degree in International Photojournalism at the University of Missouri. During those years, he perfected his skills in photography, photo editing, web design, writing, and video and audio production. Marco worked as a volunteer for Pictures of the Year International (POYi) and College Photographer of the Year.
Following his graduation, he was happy to be offered a temporary position at NPR as a visuals editor, where he worked with the international desk on topics like the Taliban take over and the Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Marco is currently available for assignments in São Paulo, Brazil.
